Outside the Window in the Times of Corona

A lot of water has gone under the bridge since we started living under the threat of Corona. One of the compulsory things was to stay home and work. In the routine busy life without Corona in it for last 2.5 years, there was never a time for just staring out the window of my bedroom that past 2.5 months provided quite occasionally. Intense discussions or being at loggerheads with colleagues is part of the software industry many of us work for. Agitations caused by interactions force us to rationalize our behaviors. At times looking out the window staring at nothingness with so much visible brings tranquility. Garden facing my bedroom window has Almond trees. They shed leaves twice in a year: Spring and Monsoon. Leaves turn from green to orange to red before parting from the tree. Roots of the trees are lying at a distance, but branches and leaves dance in harmony with simple breeze and thunderous rains both. It is a different kind of marriage but somehow resonates with something inside...
